Wow, she won by almost 0.40 seconds. Very impressive!

Felix has actually not run all that well at 400s this year. Granted, she's still run fast, but not like in years past. I'd like to see her concentrate more on it, too, but she'll still have to get some 100s here and there becuase her start has always been kind of weak. And a good start is key in running a great 200.
15% tax on all the prize money. I'm guessing that's considerably less than what it would be in the US.
Haha javelin bulls-eye. I hope they show some of that.
capital gains tax in the US is ~30%
I find it strange that it is only 15% in sweden, a country with one of the highest tax rates in the world.
Men's 8 comin' up!

World Championships in Paris.
I think this would be more like contract work, as capital gains requires investment.
It would be whatever her tax bracket, plus social security (15%), until 250k or whatever it is. More like 40 or 50% all together, or 35% if she's already made a lot this year.
So for the men's 800, they are letting 2 people start in lane 6?
The audio they play for the javelin is priceless. Why can't meets in the US be this fun?

It's 30% for all non-resident aliens.
Wow, long gun.
I have a feeling this is not going to be that tight of a race, based on the PBs ranging over 5 seconds.
i thought borza was in this
slow thru 400. pacer was 51.5x and Lalang was 5-6m back.
anyone see that flower girl
i gotta turn pro
Nick Symmonds could have easily won that race, the time was slow.
1:47?!?! really? I thought for sure Borza would fly right on by. And Kamel in what...5th? when he's a 1:42 man? Wow. I'm stunned.

I can't wait for worlds where the athletes will be wearing uniforms showing what country they're from. I find it easier to distinguish each athlete with that kind of uniform instead of everyone wearing their sponsors' clothings.
