I currently run in Lunartrainers but I'm upping my mileage in preparation for xc in the fall. My Lunartrainers are getting worn out and I'm on the market for new shoes. I'm about 135 lbs, a midfoot striker and a mild overpronator. I'm considering the Lunarglides because i really really like the Lunartrainers. I have also been recommended to try the Zoom Elite 4s and have heard good stuff about them. Lastly I've been considering Free 3.0s. I used to have Hayward 3s and liked those but I'm not sure i would get them again. I would prefer something less than 10.5 oz.
To sum it up, I'm looking for a lightweight trainer that will get me through 50-60 miles per week. I have never had any problems with injuries and have run in mostly neutral shoes in the past. I really would like to try Frees but want more feedback before I make a decision. Lastly, I'm open to recommendations, and yes, I am a fan of Nike, but anything will do.
