No doubt. I worked for 7 years as a pre-loader as it was called in those days (25-30 years ago). Yes, I started at 4am (you do get used to it) and loaded 2 package cars as the packages came down the belt. We usually had the sort done by the time the drivers started. Yes, they work very hard. From Thanksgiving to Christmas their families hardly see them. They have my respect as they earn what they get.
BTW I finally left UPS to enter the data processing field. Much easier.
