I don't believe him to be a real superhero. He has no superhuman powers like the other superheroes. Spiderman has spidey sense and can shoot webs. Superman has x-ray vision, the hulk is yoked... Batman just seems like a hack. All he has is unlimited resources to spend on technology that gives the illusion of superpowers. What does the letsrun crowd say?
No superhero I know could be bound by some fool who looks and walks like a penguin, then have some half gay guy named Robin come bail him out.
Anyone could step up if they had super powers, it takes a real hero to do so when he/she doesn't. That makes Batman the GREATEST super hero.
Batman is just a hero, I agree that the "super" does not apply.

The Bat has the best costume, and the most intimidating, cool black and grey. And he accessorises properly with ropes and other gadgets and has a cool ride. Superman just has a cape. Still if I could be anyone I'd be Superman because he has xray vision. Imagine going to watch ladies beach volleyball with xray vision.
Batman is analgous to Buddy from the incredibles.

A hero kills people, people that wish him harm. A hero is part human and part supernatural. A hero is born out of a childhood trauma, or out of a disaster, that must be avenged.
In the original comic book, after his parents were murdered, he created a special formula that made him have abnormal strength. This PED compared with weight lifting gave him more strength than a normal human. I am serious.
Actually, Spiderman's webs are not natural. Peter Parker, being the science genius he is, developed that "web spray" to use. He has a button in each palm that launches the web. His spidey sense and strength, etc, is "natural" though.
On the other hand, have any of you considered getting bitten by a radioactive spider to enhance your running? I bet they can't trace that drug!

I remember this from the comics and from the animated TV show, but I've got to admit that I liked much more how they treated it in the Spiderman movies, as a full-on power that he gains. I always thought it was kind of lame how he had to be sure he had enough "web-fluid" before he went out to take out bad guys.
