I did 9 miles in an hour once, at which point the treadmill went into "cool down" mode automatically. Didn't have interest in running more anyway as the mental strain was definitely starting to get me. I find that on a treadmill/elliptical, the first 30 minutes is easy mentally, but by an hour I'm definitely ready to be done doing cardio in place
Maybe 30 seconds. Maybe a tiny bit less.
When I was in grad school I worked in a fitness center and often would run on the treadmill (Woodways) when my shift was over.
It was best to just do 10 miles at 10.00 mph. I didn't want to spend extra time "at work" so that was the fastest way to get it over with.
In the last decade though, the longest I've run on a a treadmill is 6M. There is no real reason not to run outside. The weather is always runable here in the PNW.
Zero miles - when you run on a treadmill you run in place so don’t actually cover any distance.
30 km (18.6 mi)
15 miles for me, I nearly died
30 miles in 3:30, just shy of my longest run ever, at the U of Iowa rec center when I was 21. It’s easy when you’re deranged.
20 miles. Averaged around 9:30 pace. Watched a couple marathons at the same time.
1hour 59 mins 59 seconds. Think I covered 42.3km
18.6 or 30k in 2 hours back when there was a foot of snow on the ground in RVA
My max is 22 miles. I've gone 15-20 many times though.
I ran a marathon on the first day of a vacation. I couldn’t run at all the previous day due to travel, so I decided to just double up on mileage for the day. The treadmill had a 1 hour limit, so I had to restart it. Ran sub 3 for the running portion. Never again.
26.2.
2020, did it the day Boston was supposed to happen.
I went all the way on a treadmill. It was the most rigorous sex I ever had.
Whoa. That's a big treadmill, man. I don't think I've gone farther than a couple feet on a treadmill.
Great job Kipchoge

It’s relative. If you don’t run you go backwards.🥊
100 miles is 9:59:59. 6 minute mile tempo pace then a kick the last 50 yards to get under 6 minute pace 😆
I used to do a ton of long runs on the treadmill. I have done 24 a few times, 22, 20 about a dozen times. I actually think it’s not all that bad and helps you lock into a pace and just forget about stuff for awhile on those longer runs.
