the creatinine system is used up in a few seconds in sprinters starting off pretty much as fast as possible ( flat-out in 100m, but a little more circumspect in a 400m start ), but i dug around in the past looking for info on whether it is used up immediately in a race where the runner starts off slowly - i coudn't find anything
possibilty i'm raising is that sprinters may not have to use it up immediately if they start slowly, but maybe expend it either later in race when they really put their foot down ( in an 8 - 10s period ) or dissipate it more slowly mid/later race over 15 - 20s
the bottom line is, when a sprinter goes into immediate motion, regardless of speed, does the system necessitate all the creatine being used up in 8 - 10s regardless of initial speed ?
