One of the most rediculous statements i have ever heard. In track, they would not score a point, much less have an individual national qualifier.
If you're talking about cross, 25:30 packs don't get you very far. Probably not even top 10 in the Great Lakes Region.
Get a trophy at DIII nats and then we'll talk.
As a proud alum, I would have to say that the track team, at it's very best (2004), could have scored about 20 points or so, with these guys:
Andrew Rock - 400 m - 44.66 (46.42 indoors)
Hans Schmidt - PV - 18'1
Kevin Becker - WT - 21 m
Other than that, there would no no scorers...except maybe a 4x4.
I can only assume this question is about indoor track because it's indoor track season right now, and whoever asked this question was either stuck in a time warp or severely retarded.
So I am glad everyone agrees that LaCrosse sucks. I knew it all along.

put it this way, lacrosse has alot of decent guys, but not many really solid guys. your not goign to ever see one of them challenging for a nationals individual title. they were the guys who trained really hard in high school, wanted to go to d1 school put werent good enough. not alot of upside. my two cents.

I wouldn't say that they all wanted to go to a D1 school and weren't good enough. Maybe some of them did and maybe some of them were smart enough to realize that many D1 schools suck ass and there would be no point in leaving the state of WI to attend a slack D1 program when UW-LaX has an amazing program where the athlete can develop over his/her 4 years at the school. If some of these guys really wanted to go to a D1 school they could be part of the stellar D1 UW-Milwaukee team. I am also not a UW-Lax athlete or student.
