It's FREEZING down here in the Southland and some rain clouds too! Man is it ever cold. Can hardly even train in this crap. I friggin' HATE wintertime.

-17 when I got up this morning. So stop your whining.
Please say you're kidding me... At the warmest its about -4F in the morning here. I can't remember the last time I trained in shorts!
Yeah, kiss my ass. It\\\'s 3 degrees without windchill in Chicago.
It was 46 for the high in San Francisco today. And raining. We haven't hit 50 degrees for almost a week. After spending three years in LA, this actually feels like winter.
Yeah, that sucks it was 10 this morning in Michigan and it will be near zero tonight. I bet you broke out your Gore-tex and wind briefs for your jog this morning. Come to the midwest and we'll put some hair on your chest! Shit, what I would give for a 55 degree day....t-shirt and shorts.
5/10, got the natives riled up.
-19 in La Crosse, WI this morning. Fun stuff.
Y'all need to MOVE west.
like where? hawaii? It was 22 this morning in Netarts, west of Tillamook, Oregon.
Actually, this weather in LA right now is some of the worst that I've trained in.
-25F never bothered me. You just bundle up and you're fine.
45F and pouring rain...that's miserable.

riigghhtttt....
Cold rain is worse than snow. Snow just sticks, it's almost insulation, but rain soaks in.
My worst run was in Alaska, 33 degrees and pouring rain on an ice road that I probably fell down on 8 times. Sadly, I believed a T-shirt and thin gloves would be that were necessary to keep me warm. By the end of the run I was talking to myself. I even had trouble turning the door knob to get into the cabin.
You guys have the best weather. That's why SoCal is the track and field capitol of the world.
The cold and rain aren't so bad (although I won't go near the San Diego until it dries out), but the tornado warnings for Malibu, Torrance, and Long Beach are a bit worrisome, especially with the water spouts last night off of Marina del Rey.
I'm experiencing my 1st winter in SoCal and I'll tell ya, it's just plain brutal here right now. I "forced" myself to run in near perfect weather (for running) tonight, low-50s..... just brutal!
Seriously though, I'm always shocked when I see people out running in hats and gloves with jackets and tights and I'm out in shorts and a singlet.
I come from the midwest and have seen the worst that winter can give. This SoCal stuff is a breeze!
You rump-wrangling cinnamon-swirlin' sissy boy. Drink another chardonnay and leave the training to real men in places like Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, the Dakotas. Yee-HAW!
we ran a tempo run today in LA County and it was hailing on the athletes that i coach. i know it doesn't get "cold" in LA, but hail is tough to run in! it was probably low 40's, high 30's around 4pm
Well, we can complain about it actually!! We pay a $hitload of money to experience perfect weather here!! When it's not perfect, we're not getting our money's worth. And if you say we still can't whine, then let's compare rent....I know we have hardship there!
Low 40s, high 30s, cloudy and raining? Shit thats XC weather. Toss in some wind and you have October/November in the NE.
9F this morning in NY.
