I enjoyed this thread before when it was alive and well, dug it up, but instead, going to make a new thread on it.
Its the end of the year. So what was your best find this year, or what was your best find ever?
Ive found nothing but corn fields in my life, but my best friend once found 1500 in a brown paper bag on a trail once.
a dead guy, that wasn't very awesome though. It pretty much sucked
Passing a Jason Rexing on a run was a great find.
We chated and he wasn't wearing trainers.
I found peace and love on a run, a times a many.

A couple of winters ago I ran around some corner on a logging road and found a freshly killed deer with a wolf still there munching on him. It was pretty surreal with all the blood everywhere on the snow. Luckily the wolf, freaked and ran away, because I was pretty freaked out he was going to kill me. Definitely one of the more interesting things I've stumbled onto during a run.
I've found two CD's on two seperate occasions (both AC/DC albums, oddly enough).
I also found a really expensive-looking pair of Oakley sunglasses that I later sold to a chump for $130.
just yesterday, a few days after christmas, I'm running with some friends and in the middle of the sidewalk, spaced out about one every foot for 20 feet or so, are some green and red wrapped Hershey's kisses. Somebody had to have placed them like that, but I have no idea why.
$100 bill and random CDs
i found a little hand axe one time. i suppose it was more of a hatchet of sorts. i kept it of course. it was fun running back to my house with it. i got a few strange looks, to which i answered by making the throat cutting motion,

I've found several CD's, pictures, and the occasional couple of bucks (but nothing greater than $20).
However, one two occasions I have found porno mags. It was funny on both occasions because they were nasty pornos and contained funny quotes (ohh a young hot stud makes my coochie quiver!).
Another great find was a little lock blade pocket knife I found on the side of the road. I have carried it around from time to time and has proved quite handy on some occasions.
I once saw a guy jump to his death from a bridge above the ravine that I was running in. That pretty much sucked in every way. Brains splattered everywhere. The body landed about 100 feet in front of me.
Earlier this year I was really broke and could not afford a race and then about 4 days before I found $20 on the ground during a morning run. I used that to pay for my race.
