I don't know if you're trying to bait me or what, so I'll say this one time and then I'm out.
I get off at work at 5. Out the door to run between 5:30 and 6:00. If I have a track workout scheduled, I'd like to do it regardless of temperature. The two things that might keep me from doing so are ice on the track, and not being able to see where the hell I'm going. In the summer, neither of these are a problem at this time. In the winter, if the lights aren't on at the track, you can't see where you're going. I don't understand the confusion, but after all, I'm a lunatic, so whatever.
I guess the OP could get one of those really cool running headlamps.
