If you are sponsored by Nike you should be faster than a guy named Josh McDougal, come on now
Rupp ran at Osaka not that long ago. It is very difficult to peak for track in August and then try to do a second peak (in XC in November). Let's be thankful that we have a talented young man like Rupp to represent the US in distance racing. Let's also be happy for McDougal, for he too is a tough, talented runner. Both of these guys give all they have, let's enjoy and encourage, not try to disparage them out of jealousy or whatever other perversion is out there.
