I am currently a freshmen at a division I school in the Northeast and I run for the school. However, the school's environment itself has really been depressing me and the running program is turning out to be a real disappointment. When I first decided to come to the school, I thought that it was good for me, and tried to give things a chance. I now realize that it is not the school for me, and the whole semester has been miserable. Lately my motivation for competing has really been staggering as well, and I know that it is a result of the whole environment. This really upsets me because I have run respectable times so far and am a hard worker who wants to keep improving. We also run on pavement an awful lot which is something I really don't enjoy. My major is undecided as of now, so I am really looking for a school that is possibly in the south, that is in a great area with a good academic side to it, and good coaching. I would be vary grateful to receive some advice or any help. Thank you
