You seriously thought this book was well-written? The descriptions were overdone, overused. What was used once or so in very specific ways that was sort of so awkward that it was almost good in OAR, was overused and overdone in ATC to the point where it just sucked.
The writing was absolutely terrible. It attempted to capture a sense of running, but it failed terribly at it.
Sure, it goes into detail about life other than running, but I don't think it's good writing in general. Maybe you think it's good writing because it relates to what you do when you're not running, but the fact is if nonrunners read this, they wouldn't be able to get past a chapter.
2/10, seriously, if even.
