Is it just me, or is anybody else having any trouble not only accessing the site, but also clicking on the "Watch For Free" button that's supposed to let you watch live?!
This is driving me crazy.

What a bust on the web coverage. I finally got in about 45 min into the race and like an idiot accidentally clicked out of it. That was that, could not get back in and had to read the coverage on runners world site. They cut out at 25 miles so not even a final 'live' report of the finish.
I guess NBC and medialink did not think anyone would actually watch something as 'boring' as running.
I guess on the bright side, since we apparently crashed the site due to too many users, maybe they will realize there is a market for this on TV.

I got up and started watching around 15k or a bit earlier and it only paused for 1-2 seconds twice during the entire time, was live streaming after that, with coverage for about 10minutes after the race. They had a main screen (not too large) and a secondary small screen showing further back. The audio was good and they periodically put up the last 4-5 one-mile splits. They started doing split screens, which worked well and allowed you to get landmarks to judge separation, especially when breaks were being made. Too bad I did not have a full screen, otherwise it was about as good as it gets. The commentary was pretty good and continually they made an effort to keep things up to date. They focused on 2/3/4 as well as first place.

I had no problems watching it, I thought it was very good. I was using a Mac and had no difficulty contrary to the pre-race publicity. Very sad news about Shay, they said that he'd had a 'medical emergency' during the coverage but nothing more, I suspect they didn't know. First time I've seen Lynn Jennings commenting, I thought she did a good job.

Phil, did you do anything special to get your Mac to work, like software or a plug-in? Mine didn't work, but I had no problems watching it on my wife's laptop PC. Only issue was no sound for the first two minutes, then it was fine the whole way. I tried watching the On Demand a little while ago on the Mac and still no go.

Yeah, really early on, Al Trautwig says something like "I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Sell's done." (this was about at the point when the group of five broke away, and Sell and others didn't go with them). And then Jennings slaps Trautwig down. Good stuff.
