Here's the little story to go with the thread.
I went out wednesday evening for a 'few drinks' with the lads, but with it being cheapsake student night the drinks are very cheap and it now costs a 1/4 of a usual night out so I took advantage as you do.
strolled in at 3am the usual, then up and out at 9 for a very easy 40, afternoon sleep then a session last night.
Now why is it that i had a great session? People always say drinking isn't good etc etc which i agree, but the odd night out here and there surely doesn't effect your performace that much, or even not at all.
I caught up on the sleep I lost during the afternoon and felt great later on.
Is there any research that anyone knows of relating to alcohol the night before aerobic activity the following day?
