saw a kid doing sprints barefoot on the football field today and once he left I tried it myself.
handtimed on my wrist, but I did 15 the first time
and then a couple minutes later I did 13 flat, maybe 13.25 to be cautious
at 40 years old when I time myself on the track I am usually at 14.8 to 15.8 (no spikes)(yeah old guys time themselves to see exactly how slow we are)
anyway my question is this: I would have thought barefoot on grass would have slowed me down, am I right and just had a great day/in better shape? or is grass/barefoot faster for sprinting???
and yes I know how slow 13 is, but at 40 it feels fast
