Back in june i started having some pain in my leg which i thought was just running pains. Ran for another week and couldnt take it anymore so i decided to taker a couple days off. I was running 6 days a week and biking on wed. I eventually took a sat and sunday off at the end of june and biked mon, tuesday and wed. I stopped and have not son anything since. I figured taking some time off would help but the pain did not go away. Did some aqua jogging for most of the summer and eventually started biking for the most part of august. Finally august 6th i went to an orthopaedic and was told i had "Superficial Peroneal Nerve Compression," due to "sports enduced compartment syndrome." It was on my right leg, on the outside about the middle of the leg, and also soarness on the top of my foot.I was told to take a month off and comeback which led me to today...I was told i can run. I have been biking and aqua jogging since then and went out today for 10 mins.
Suggestions on what i should do for a comeback so i do not have to redshirt?...i'll be racing 8k's and a 10k at the end of the season hopefully.
Thanks,
Joe
