Sport isn't really defined. I see Running as sport in its purest form. 99% of sports contain running in it. Who can run from one end of the court to the other with a ball etc etc. Track is really just taking the most important element of those games and testing it. I'm not too good at explaining my thinking, but that is how I basically see it.
games take skill, sports do not
I do realize I just posted in your other thread. And that your an ass. However, just another valid point. Running is one of the few sports where if you had to base it on who won and who lost. At any given competition 99.999999 percent of all competitors are loosers. And at least 95 of all people to ever participate in "the sport" of running have NEVER WON
