I agree with everything you say except the restaurants, which I won't argue as it is too subjective. I will continue to argue that SF can't touch the social, cultural and vibe of NY. Like I said, I live near SF and love the area, but if someone is looking for the big city experience, NY has to be the place.
Oh and as for college football, that's about as important to me as lawn bowling facilities...
