If you don't, probably not a lot of meaningful things going on in your life.

the one movie that got me closest
this thread is ridiculous. Of course it's okay for men to cry, if something affects you deeply. If you lose someone very close to you, I'd think it would be unhealthy to keep it in.
Here's what's weird about me, though: Some of my favorite music not only gives me goosebumps, but can actually bring tears to my eyes. Anyone else want to admit this anonymously?

I cry sometimes. Not all the time but occasionally in movies I'll let some tears role. You feel like a little girl when you do sometimes, but at the same time it feels pretty good to let some emotions out.
My girlfriend (who is a very emotional woman herself) doesn't mind if she turns and sees me crying. She says that one of the big problems in our society today is that men are exptected to keep their emotions locked inside them. She says that she is often glad she's not a man because woman are allowed to shoe their emotions and are not looked down on if the cry.
Just my thoughts, call me a baby if you want or a girl, but I think crying is okay for guys once in a while.
you baby, you girl!
When I tear up I think to myself why am I crying? Then I stop. If you really think about what your crying about there's actually no reason to cry.
Seems like the older I get the more I'll tear up. Sports, TV, & movies do it to me the most. Saying goodbye to my parents every time I move out of the area I'll admit causes me to bawl in my car once I pull away.

"It takes a big man to cry! It takes even a bigger man to laugh at that man!"
just watched jimmy v's speach and was moved to tears....
very rarely tear up by the way
I cry when I masturbate
I cry sometimes.
I live a fuller life than I would otherwise. And pity the man who's afraid to cry.
Jimmy V's speech was good and all, but those youtube people earnestly claiming it to be the best speech delivered of all time or likening it to an MLK speech (but without as much publicity)? C'mon now...
This makes me cry every time.
this 1 for me
Can't help bawling like a baby every time I watch Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig give his farewell speech. "Brian's Song" is a close second.
I cry almost every time I see the scene at the end of Ghost where Demi Moore can see the dead Patrick Swayze's ghost.
I've also cried during the Sixth Man (even though it's a comedy) and almost during My Girl at Macaulay Culkin's character's funeral.
I've cried after one race in my life, partially cause of how horrible it was, but honestly it felt more like I couldn't control my body than due to actual emotion.
I also cried for several days after one of my close friends died and come close to crying whenever I spend time thinking about it.
And I came close to tearing up just from reading a few posts on this thread.
Sometimes I need a good cry.

He was 11. It was a freak car accident in which I was driving and the other car hit us on the passenger side where he was sitting. He was unconsicious and died a few hours later in the hospital. Thanks for asking!!
BTW My wife found out she had cancer 3 weeks before this. After her operation she has had great health since.
