1200 & change. Just behind pace for 2500 for the year, but in the fall I'll switch to half-marathon training (& less-frequent racing), which should carry me over. I'd have to check, but I think I did about 2100 last year. Hopefully, I can build up to 3000 miles in '08.
1319, including a stress fracture and its accompanying recovery period.
1796 through july
1300 as of 1st July.
The running streak continues!
1435 as of June 30th.
1620, probably my best year yet. 2/3 of those miles on surfaces softer than asphalt or concrete. [quote]encharito wrote:

1400... for June ALONE
took a couple of days off, i see
I had 1908 miles or so (estimated off a 9:15 per mile average pace for just under 291 hours of running) June 30th. I was slightly ahead of 2006 at that point.
5000 miles, all in Puma H streets on perfect soft forest trails at 4:30 per mile pace. If you do anything less than that, you suck.
I don't stretch and choose not to enter any races because anyone who finishes ahead of me is on drugs.

Okay, I laughed.
As for me, zero miles of running in the first six months of the year (the streak continues!)--I'm looking to double that in the second half of the year.

Benji you average 9:15 pace? I realize it's been almost 25 years since your marathon PR but with that many miles, I am still a bit surprised you so run so easily. Do you race much these days?
I started June 1 and have 32.5 miles in.
I need to lose weight and am signed up to run the Chicago marathon.
1108 as of 06/30/2006. Low man on the totem pole so far.
2013 so far through 7/1.
Run- 165 miles
Bike- 3804 miles
1880 miles so far this year. I was sick for some of the year too. I am going for 4000 this year which shouldn't be hard once i get milage back up for cross within the next couple of weeks.
I'm at 2082 miles.
I had a calf injury in June that significantly limited me the past 2 weeks or I'd be 100 miles higher.
