I'm not talking about ALL injuries/conditions, but most of them. I had a severely crippled college roommate, who graduated and is working. Only his left arm had full capability, among his limbs. A coworker's upper arm is paralyzed, and he works. I had back spasms a couple weeks ago, and missed zero days despite bad pain from normal movements. A young man is confined to a wheelchair, and he works at a nearby park district.
Yet these NFL players make lucrative $$ over a few years, and just 1-2 years after bashing heads, they "can't" work an office job... but instead need more $$. I'm calling BS on many (not all) of these guys "unable" to work. Plus, there's a small point that NFL doctors/trainers are abundant to state their health, and that no one put a gun to their heads to play.
