Shouldn't these girls be able to run under 9:20 for a 3k? thats 10 min 3200 pace. they were getting close to that in high school? Anyone know the how the race went lap by lap?

Blood ran 9:24 3K as a sophomore in high school but maybe it was really hot or something and that slowed times.

i really wish you guys would read entire posts before spouting off at the mouths.

hot or not apparently Blood is getting back to form with that 9:27. It looks as if nicole blood will be the next galen rupp of distance in the female version....people hate her but can't stand not knowing how she is progressing.

Well it was also pretty warm in June 2004 when she ran the 9:24. Glad to see she's almost back to where she was as a high school sophomore.

the race went out slower than 80s pace. nicole took over with about 3 laps left and ran her last 400m in about 64-65s. she looked great- in control the whole way.
