what's everyones prediction?
1 Chris Solinsky 14:06 pulls away with a thumping last 1200
2 Josh McDougal 14:08
3 David Nightingale 14:08
4 Bobby Curtis 14:09
and i guess maybe vaughn to round out the 5th spot.

Solinski. In a landslide.
Curtis- 57 last lap over Solinsky in 14:02
they would be foolish to let the race go this slow as Curtis could not win in a fast race (13:30-13:40)
Nightingale is not going to beat curtis or vaughn. I doubt mcdougal will beat eithe after the 10k, but it is possible.
Nightengale ahead of Curtis. I seriously doubt that. I see either Curtis or Solinsky winning with Vaughn and McDougal following closely.

that they are going to screw around and run 70 sec quarters till the last 800 and it'll be won in a sprint by none of the favorites.
smyth in top 3
you definately called this one. solinsky just owned everyone with 1200 to go. mcdougal tried to follow but had to check up. great race chris!

That 13:39.88 makes Curtis the #2 5000 meter man in Villanova history, behind only Sydney Maree from 1979. Curtis was wise not to chase after Solinsky when Chris took off with 1000-1100 to go. Solinsky would have won in any event, but Curtis would probably have blown up at the end and finished much further back.
