so ive had this pain, just a really dull pain on the outside of my leg for a while, maybe 14 months or so, but it was always just a dull pain, nothign extreme. then about 6-7 weeks ago maybe, it moved to the inside but more extreme, nothing that stops me from running or noticeable affects my times, because ive put up some pretty good times for me, but i think its getting worse. it doesnt hurt when i jump up and down on it, or really when i run, but its nagging and hurts when i put pressure on it. anyways, my seasons almost over and then im taking time off to fully recover. i've never been injured in my legs before, but is there a chance that since ive been running on it for so long, even though no terrible pain, i may never be able to run again, or it may cause long term damage, if i rest after the season and take time off to heal it? any input/advice
