I have a race at 4 on saturday. Does it make sense to do all my workouts the week before at the same exact time? Would 3:30 work too? i am really concerned.

It doesn't matter.
3:30 would probably be fine but I definitely wouldn't go any earlier than that.
Studies have shown that, contrary to conventional wisdom, your body's natural recovery cycle is actually 24.5hrs. You might therefore consider working out in the morning early in the week, moving your starting time a half hour later each day (ending w. 3:30 on Friday, of course).
thanks for the advice, i just realized the race is in the central time zone so it is actually at 5 eastern (my time zone). i should probably bump it up to adjust for that right?
right
