so here's my story. same one you see every year i am sure. anyway i am a senior in college, have run 14:25 5k and 8:53 steeple. last year in cross after a year abroad and not training i managed to run 31 mid for 10k cross... this season i was hoping to build on that, but have been sick and was working all summer so i haven't ran much at all (i am now two weeks into training and only at 50 miles/week, approx 6-6:15/mile pace. my question is, for those who would know, how f*cked is my cross season because of this and is there much chance to get anything done by regionals/nationals???
