Northern Arizonia is beautiful
Humboldt State is in a gorgeous setting
Johns Hopkins would be a holy terror. You could probably do interval training from one gangbanger selling dope on one corner to the next gangbanger selling dope on the next corner.
Worst- High Point University
Rutgers was horrible for running!!
Eastern Illinois University has one of the ugliest campuses and towns I have ever seen and there weren't many good running routes when I was there. Indiana State, outside of having a stellar cross country course, doesn't have much either.
Cal State Northridge on a warm winter night with the orange trees blossoming.

Wrong,D&R Towpath, Buccleuch Park, and Johnson Park. They are all great places to run.
Does Johns Hopkins offer athletic scholarships? Their team looks horrible. Is the campus really that bad?

DIII, so no athletic scholarships (Hopkins lacrosse is DI).
IU is a great campus.

You ever try to run down the Towpath at night or in the winter? Horrible I say!

You don't run the towpath at night. At night you go Johnson Park and then up through Highland Park to Donaldson Park. Or, go down Easton Ave. to either JFK or Demott and then to Somerset.
Maybe make a loop by the Busch/Liningston campus and add on. There are places to run if you want to do it.
Livingston
UW (Madison). It is not the most gorgeous campus but it is not bad. There are several good places to run immediate to campus: The Lakeshore Path, The Arboretum (Arb), and the Southwest Bike Path (and its continuation to Lake Monona and the loop around that lake). In addition, both the Military Ridge Trail and Middleton's trail are quite nice but require transportation.
colorado is really nice, very runner friendly to the extreme

Its only bad when it gets really icy. Besides that it is fine.
The most fun was running across the bouncy wooden bridge on the Douglass Campus when the girls were just getting out of class. They'd scream and hold on for dear life. Books and notebooks would go flying into the gulch below. We'd run another small loop around campus and come back again just as they finished picking everything up and do it all again.
Classic!
Then we'd go off and run the long Cook loop through Helyar Woods.
John Hopkins = Worst
Madison= Best
