You can't be afraid of those little rollers. There are few races that don't have a few rollers and are pancake flat.
Whos game?
Chris --
I won't be there -- with a bad knee issue right now I may not be anywhere, I have to demote my Boston goal to a 2:50-ish "run-through" workout if I can run at all, and maybe hope to run in late spring elsewhere--
but just wanted to
-- give your note a "bump" to the top, and
-- wish the best to a guy who strikes me as an old-school runner (that's a good thing) -- go get 'em
Chris,
I was actually considering going out there and doing an MP paced run (5:25) in conjunction with the half or the full. It's only a 30 min. drive from my house.
Shoot me an email.
atleast its not this...
There are also a few guys running the kentucky derby festival marathon a week earlier. and some in june for grandmas.
Good luck chris.
Joe, Sorry to hear about your knee. I hope it gets better soon. Sorry I couldn't help you out more last year in NY your group came by me a little quicker than I could go at the time. I was in survial mode most of that one.
If plan on running anything down close to NC let me know.

Joshua Tree,
I will shoot you an e-mail.
Just thought I would bump this up during lunch to see if there are any more takers.
Isn't that where Stonewall Jackson shot Barbara Frietche's head off?
'Shoot if you must this old grey head,' 'Bang-bang,' he said. Something like that.
Wide-open town.
Chris are you living back there now?
Chad
Hi Chad,
Yep moved to Chapel Hill NC a couple months back to be more a family guy and spend more time with my kids vs. commuting. Trying to adjust to a changing climate from being spoiled by the same year round nice weather in santa cruz CA.
What are you up to these days?

Good luck chris.
Grandmas is going to be pushing your luck with the weather. KY is supposed to be pretty hilly, if I'm not mistaken.
From what I've seen, if you are serious about trying for a Trials time this spring, then you will be in Eugene. It's going to have the course, the weather, and the runners. Hopefully it won't have the rain (or at least too much of it). Good luck to everyone trying to hit their "A" or "B."
Bump...
For any more undecided runners I think there will at least be a couple of us running Frederick or using it as a MP run for part of it.

Things are good. I am getting in shape, finally injury free. I am going to Grandmas. I didn't see you at the ATB 12K so I was wondering what happened to you. Good luck in NC.
Chad
bump..
Chad, Best of luck to you at Grandmas.
