what\'s the deal with Newton Running? Anyone tried their shoes? All I know is they seem damn expensive.

I have to say, these look great. I like the emphasis on forefoot cushioning.
Wonder how they fit. I'm one of those people who is somewhat in between two sizes...
so overpriced...
buy virtuvian running shoes for 1/3 of the price with better quality

I agree but I'm willing to bite the bullet for one pair and find out if they're good or not. Whenever I design my own dream shoe, it's light and has good forefoot cushioning without too much heel. These clearly have at least 2 of those 3 things. If they have all 3, I'm sold.
did you change your name but forget to edit the signature?
Yes they are over priced. Nice website.
With all due respect to the triathlete's, it would be nice to get some feedback from distance runners, competitive runners, elite runners, etc.

Well they have a nice all-Flash website and pretty shoes and I'm almost ready to shell out right now. Expensive? BFD. I'll live on Beefaroni and near-beer for a month. Pant, pant.
Oh! But they're not available just yet. What a relief.

Those triathletes are top flight Ironman competitors who probably regularly log anywhere from 65-90mpw, perhaps even more in the case of Peter Reid. I think you could call them distance/competitive runners.
