I'm pretty sure that i have am becoming anemic. Does anyone know of a trick to getting over this quickly other than the typical iron supplement and eating liver? Thanks

Sorry to say, but anemia is not something you can get over quickly--you don't become anemic overnight, so you can't cure it quickly either. I know, it's frustrating--I've been there. Liquid iron absorbs much better than the pills, and if you take it with vitamin C, it helps absorption even more. Avoid taking calcium or caffeine with it, though, as they both inhibit iron absorption. I can tell you, from personal experience, that I noticed I was feeling better after a couple of weeks, and in about five weeks I was running the times I was before I became anemic.
BTW--what signs are you having that you think you're anemic? Fatigue, dizziness, not being able to run times you used to? Just to be sure, I would get a blood test. Make sure you ask for a serum ferritin test though, as sometimes your serum ferritin can be low but your red blood cells are within the normal range, and low serum ferritin can definitely hurt your performance. They say that any level under 30 will hurt your performance. Good luck with this.
