There's a local road race that offers time bonuses for eating donuts along the course.
The race brochure says the following:
"The participants will run a 5k out and back course. Every 1/4 mile there will be an aid station with refreshment and donuts (Krispy Kreme). For every donut consumed time will be subtracted from the runners finish time."
1 donut = 15 seconds
2 donuts = 30 sec
3 donuts = 45 sec
4+ donuts = 1 minute
10, 15, 20, 25 = If you reach these milestones you get a 2 minute 30 second bonus for each one you reach.
Example:
You ate 4 donuts with a finish time of 20 minutes.
Add 15 seconds + 30 sec + 45 sec + 60 sec = 2 min 30 sec
Then subtract this from the running time of 20 minutes to get 17 min and 30 sec for a final running time.
From the best I can figure, you can't run and eat at the same time. You must finish the donut at the aid station and you get a sticker for each donut you eat.

Anybody out there think they can run a negative 5k?!?
What's the best strategy to acheive this goal?
If Rexing did it, how fast could he run?
