The 200m WR is faster than 2x the 100m WR. We all know why. I was thinking that the only people this would hold for are elite sprinters and WR holders. But then I wondered why it doesn't hold for many more of us. Or does it? I suspect most of us letsrunners are endurance based, and should be able to hold a near maximal pace for 200m. Maybe we start slowly / non-explosively, get to 100m in a not so great time, but hold well??? I know this is a different kind of endurance to distance running endurance, but, I ask the question anyway. (My PRs are 12.78 and 25.97....double plus 0.41)
Have any of you seen the new David Lynch epic, INLAND EMPIRE? Thoughts?
