nope... but its damn close.

that shit sucks
Yes. Definately. It's comedy/drama with a magical realist twist. I don't think I've ever seen a show that funny in which I also care about the characters.
Yes. To fully appreciate it and understand the characters, you have to watch some of the episodes from the beginning.
my favourite line
Dr. Kelso: Do you have any idea how many patients I had to ignore to get that high-score?
when dr. cox goes off on his little tirades, its hilarious. jd's daydreams are awesome. i think the janitor, in his better episodes, is the most entertaining character though. just the fact he goes by "the janitor" is funny in itself.
Eeeeeeeeeagle!!
Maybe you haven't watched the Office then
I've only recently started watching both. I need to get some DVD boxsets, as they are both excellent shows! Greatest? Nah, but I do think they are the best comedies on TV right now.
"I love this moment so much that I want to have sex with it"
my life....ended up quitting track after senior year of high school....now i smoke grass and drink 40s everyday, gained 20 lbs, and watch scrubs on comedy central for hours....then eventually colbert/stewart......but i think i'm really addicted to scrubs....or maybe its something else
ps...i gotta mad bone for elliot

Michael's character is starting to annoy me some, though I have not watched the last 3 weeks' yet, so maybe something's happened. I think the opening (like 3 months ago) when jim was sending Dwight memos to himself from the future was maybe the most I've laughed...ever, at a single line of a tv show
Arrested Development.
Gob's bit with Franklin the puppet was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on TV.
Yes, it's the only show that has made me laugh and cry in the same episode. Sometimes in the same scene.
Eh, I dunno. I'd hold the first two seasons up against almost anything on TV now but starting with season three, it really feels like they increased the goofy/slapstick aspect past the breaking point. What I loved about the first two seasons was how the show balanced great physical comedy and sharp writing with genuine emotional attachments to characters. Now, it's still funny, but when they ratchet up the sentimentality in the closing music montages and such, it feels tacked on since the characters have become less real people and more parodies. I felt the same way about Arrested Development after Season 1.
That's a long winded way of saying it's still funny, but I used to like it a whole lot more. Still a million times better than shit like "Two and a Half Men".

I agree with this, and it is a shame. I was almost embarrassed watching that "musical" episode. plus, the music sucks now, they used to have really good music during the closing scenes...
I think the Dr. Cox tirades have gone straight down the shitter to be honest. They started sucking after the 1st season.
The 1st season was the bomb, before Zach Braff got all Zach Braff-y.
Scrubs is just 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose' in med school instead of high school, e.g. same set of characters, relationships, problems with quirky sound effects and dream sequences.
To me they are highly similar and I probably like Parker Lewis more than Scrubs. Would any non-chaz22 person even put Parker Lewis in the top 100 sitcoms of all time?
no....ufo 1980.
don't smother your kids
Scrubs isn't even close to the best show in TV history!
If we're talking live action, Arrested Development, hands down, wins. Amazingly funny.
