Revenge of the Sith and its ending saved the franchise in my opinion.
However, the ending of the Matrix Revolutions was awful.
The Departed
it's not a movie, but the ending of the new zelda game was pretty bad

you're a dumbass
The Departed's ending was such a rollercoaster ride. You may have not liked the outcome (I assume you wanted every thing to end happily or something), but to say it's the worst ending of a film ever is just ridiculous.
And what exactly were you expecting when you saw Revenge of the Sith. That ending has been written for years upon years. Everyone in the theater knew what was coming - Padme had to die, Anakin had to get jacked up and Obi Won couldn't kill him. Were you expecting something different???
I honestly do not understand people who did not like the ending of "The Departed"
The worst ending is the first of the "Lord of The Rings" trilogy. It has no ending at all.
Castaway
Con Air.
Officer and a Gentleman--great movie until he carried Debra Winger in his arms. I was booing in the theater, pure cheesy hollywood ending. That was 1982/83, and I'm still disgusted by it.
It matched the book. Read it.
"Romeo Is Bleeding," with Lena Olin and Gary Oldman. Lena played a gorgeous amoral assassin who humiliated and destroyed Oldman and got away with it. Or so it seemed, until the bogus ending.
It has got to be the ending the the first and second lord of the rings movies. Just made no sense!

Okay, you are a genius! I totally agree.
I was so pissed at the end of the first Lord of the Rings I swore "No F*****n way". Yes, I never read the books but that is no excuse for not having three key things in a movie; beginning, middle and an end. Almost all the other sequel type movies still stand on there on. It was truly painful hearing them talk about the ring the whole way and no resolution by the time the movie ends. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
Departed was great the entire way through, including the ending.
What are you, 8?
