What if they threw a World XC meet and nobody came?
Seriously, could they have picked a better nail to hammer into the coffin otherwise known as the popularity of XC and Track&Field?
This meet should have been held in downtown London, or Paris, or Rome. Build a 1k loop in the middle of the city and market the shit out of it.
No, the IAAF decides to put it where half the runners are scared to travel, and absolutely no fans will go.
