I used to run 400's in college (a few years ago....) and now I'm trying to get into racing some 5k's.
I am trying to get my mileage up to around 50-60 but it's just so boring!
Is there any point in doing some intervals very early in a base period? Repeat 400's? Or 800's?
As a sprinter - I'm just itching to get into some workouts but I'm guessing training for 5k's doesn't work that way?
Any thoughts?
