OAC's again - Any thoughts?

I don't mean to pour salt in an open wound, but I feel sorry for Basista, Garro, and I believe Cecil.(correct me if I'm wrong with the name). Anyways, Velliquette really screwed them over in that DMR at nationals. Talk about a choke artist.

Let's talk OAC indoor facilities:

1. Does MUC still have the approx. 20 m. straights and endless curves...felt like Apolo Ohno in short track speed skating there.

2. OWU had a great facility. Nice and spacious. What condition is it in now some two decades later.

3. Otterbein was a frequently used facility...just hated how the ventilation system was right overhead the long jump pit just in time to help suck more silica dust in the air to help further dry out the lungs of the guys in the 1600 and 3200.

4. BW just completed a new facility just after my graduation and I was only able to run on it once.

5. My pharmacist lil bro's alma mater ONU has a great facility. Ran the USATF indoor meet their 13 months ago.

As facilities continue to improve in general I am guessing the former also-ran schools like Heidleberg, Denison, Wittenberg,et.al have some decent tracks on which to compete.

Last note, I loved CC and track but am mystified how anyone in the OAC can run as slow at 16:00 for 5,000 or 33:40+ and still be considered even close for the conference meet, or be listed as varsity in their respective schools.

With all due respect, this is like your 4th post about how the OAC isn't as competitive as it was in "your day". On behalf of all of us (current athletes), we appologize we can't continue to keep the OAC to your standard.

does anyone know why jason sigmund from MU wasn't around this indoor season? I am guessing he was hurt or something I was just wondering if anyone knew anything specific.

While some people would consider Mount's inablility to win the dmr at nationals, they still got there, they still placed very high. No one knows what went through Jeremy's head during the race. Obviously his race wasn't good enough to win, so what. I think it is pretty sad so many people can sit here on the computers and laugh and make fun when really, they will never make it there. The same guy who anchored the winning dmr team made a pretty questionable move in the 5k the next day and no one is ripping that guy.

Plus, you are just an asshole. Perhaps you should listen to your own advice.
