Warned about what?
just wanted to reiterate what i said before, Mottram=real deal, Webb=one of the top AMERICANS, Mottram is on a whole different level..
Webb must have been tired from three straight weeks of racing, 4:04 is jogging for someone who's run 3:48.
has mottram ever lost to webb? mottram seems to race more, and has beat webb in at least two miles (fifth ave, millrose).
I thought Webb was supposed to rock this race? What happened?
Webb= overated underpreformer
Mottram= God
Lagat's an American, dummy.
What were the splits? How did the race develop? Anyone?
Get off of Webb's nuts. You people who belittle him over every single thing that could be considered a "failure" are worthless.
Who will remember this race next week? In 2 years? The only thing that really matters for Webb right now is Chinese gold and I ain't talking about proposing to a hot Asian.
I'm impressed to see that Mottram was so close to Lagat. I thought that Lagat would have at least a second on him.

Oslo, 2005.
i'll remember this race...running away from a couple of fields on 200m tracks and then switch to the 11 lap/mile and finish 10 seconds behind mottram.
don't know how the race went but seems to indicate webb may have weaknesses when seemingly in shape and running well. makes the 1500/mile a distance that can hold suprises.
I watch ESPN for two hours, expecting to see the race. What the heck happened?
I have a question. A poster on here stated that Webb was the best at winning races that don't matter. So now that he lost, is this considered a race that matters?
On the other hand, Mottram ran spectacularly. So here's my other question. Who's going to say Mottram is peaking too early?
And of course, congrats to Lagat.
sorry guys, 3:54 is not a world class time. Not on that track, in that meet, with all that hype. Lets stop the "God" posts about Mottram with his 3:54. Besides where are the Lagat fans out there? He won the dam thing when everyone else was talking abot Webb vs. Mottram
did you all see webb's hairpiece come out at 1450m? he dropped to all fours and backpeddled. lost him the race.
3:54 is a world class time on that track.

You're right, it's only the world leading time. Lagat and Mottram suck, they should just give up the sport. Time for some new blood!
3:54 world class in 2007? Let's talk to Eammon Coghlan and see what he thinks.

What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
