I pulled my left quad last year in a 5k. Took a week off, it felt better, started running again. Noticed that my quad became numb almost all day. Then, broke my left heel (calcaneal stress fracture). Healed it after 3 months of doing nothing. Started running again very slowly. After 2 months of building up to 4 miles a day, the fracture area started hurting again. My quad is still numb.
Is the quad the problem??? If so, how do I fix it? Or more specifically, what the is it? Every doctor I went to only focused on the stress fracture, not what the cause was. Any help?
