This topic has been discussed at length on many occasions. If you utilize the "Search" hyperlink, you will find many threads with Vegas running advice. Here's one of them...
Both trails and road. Road is one way, almost two car wide, paved road about 12 miles long that dumps you out about 1.5 miles down the road from the park entrance. I did it twice when I was out for a long weekend in Jan. I managed to get up early - not easy to do when in Vegas - and run it at 6am when the sun was just coming up - really cool scenery. Place was empty so I didn't have to wory about motorist clipping me while ther're checking out the view. There's a parking lot at the exiting loop also. If you start from there, you can loosen up on the exterior part of the loop with a couple of easy downhill miles instead of from the entrance gate where the 1000 climb start almost immeditatly.
Or any of these:

After nearly six months of not seeing any of these we get two in two weeks. Must be the season.
I have enjoyed runs at Red Rock.
