It looks nice, but I'm a bit iffy of buying something of this magnitude over the internet.
Feedback needed.
Will also take highlarius feedback or cheap shots - but no low blows.

So when she says she likes it, you can say: "I thought you would because 60% of the respondents on Letsrun said they like it too."
That will make her feel special.
Why don't you see if Burger King will let you work a few extra shifts instead of buying that thing.
Well the diamonds need to be bigger (j/k), but it's pretty. Is there a reason you are buying it over the internet? Could you not find a ring similar to it in a store?
Take her to see Blood Diamond, then propose to her with a plain gold band.
Well the price is nice, and the only jewelry stores around where I live are the "commercial" type - Kays, Friedmans, etc - and I've been disappointed. Very plain, normal, and they seem overpriced.
Buy yourself this t-shirt instead.
if you're disappointed with the warehouse type stores, online at a questionable site won't get you much more . . . and probably less. you'd be better off buying something a little smaller at tiffany (they have online purchasing, i believe), then when you're older and have more to spend on an anniversary ring, you can upgrade and use the starter ring for partial payment. the starter ring may be a little smaller, but will be much better than what you've posted here. whatever you do, do not buy sight unseen (in person).
If she knows you're planning on proposing she's probably been dropping hints like mad about what she wants. Don't buy something without knowing if she'll like it - if you're out shopping with her, go into a jewellry store with her and see what she likes, or look through a catalogue with her or whatever. You can make it look casual if you must, like flip through a magazine for "Christmas gifts" and make sure you look at the rings together or something. She'll still be thrilled when you propose even if it's not a total surprise.
Hey man, congrats on the pending proposal.
I would not buy the diamond over the internet, just don't do it.
You pay for what you get, and this is an important purchase. Go talk to a gemologist about it, there is bound to be one in your area.
You don't have to go to Tiffany's, although you are at least getting a decent diamond there, that will hold its value. It will be overpriced though...
A website like this could be lying about the SI rating and all, you never know. Does it come with an appraisal?
Don't rush purchasing this.
Do some research.
mmmmmmm diamonds.
Probably from Sierra Leone or the Congo.
Nothing says love like putting a fully automaitic in the hands of a 10 year old.

Because oil is such a virtuous commodity, and we all boycott that as well...
I am sure you do.
If you're buying a diamond that small, maybe you'd be better off proposing with a different kind of stone where you could get something a little larger. It depends on whether your girl would be happy with a nontraditional stone I guess though.
Get her cubic zirconia ring and tell her it's real. Then spend the diamond money on a 42" HD flat screen tv, something that you both can use. I kicked that problems ass!
Most women can tell the difference. Unless she's blind, then it might work.
Yeah jackass, because giving up oil consumption is just as easy as giving up diamonds.
Just because he takes a moral stance on an issue doesn't mean he needs to be an angel in everything he does. Not buying diamonds is an easy and practical way to not fund the diamond industry. Avoiding oil isn't as easy. So he shouldn't be allowed to speak out against diamonds if he consumes oil? Are you the same person who says you can't critique a runner faster than yourself because it is essetially the same argument. Grow up. Learn some things.
I ama woman and I think the ring is beautful. Good choice! DON'T get her a fake diamond (cubic zergona or what ever). I can garuntee any woman would dump you and it would eb hard to get her back. if you love her get her the real thing!
I did a masters study on De Beers in College.
Trust me.
They are beyond slimy.
And your comment about oil......I don't like the wars it has caused....but at least it has a use....tranportation, manufacturing etc.
What is a diamond?
It is all for show.
It creates or produces nothing?
It does not provide anything.
Thanks!
Don't go to Tiffany's, dear God, they are overpriced. I do like the idea of getting a different center stone. I bought my wife a ring for her birthday with a sapphire in the center and smaller diamonds on the sides and she likes it almost as much as her engagement ring and always gets tons of compliments when she wears it. That would lower your costs a lot and it looks sharp.
I second everyone's comment that you probably don't want to buy online unless there is some sort of appraisal that you can research and make sure it's authentic. Even then, you might not be sure what you're getting until you see it.
Good luck!
