Is it better to try and lose 2 pounds a week for a few weeks or try to lose 1 pound or less for several months? I'm just starting to get in some base miles after an injury put me off for a month. Anyway, I was a bit heavy to begin with but gained some more during the injury. I'm wondering if it'd be better to try and lose the weight fast while I'm not working out hard, or just try and lose a little each week.
BTW, I only need to lose about 12 pounds.
