As for Taiwan, about 50% of semi-conductors used in American defense industry and designed and manufactured in Taiwan. If China takes over Taiwan, America is skrued.

We should probably learn to make these chips in America and not rely on an unrecognized island country. That would be a more sane defense policy to me.
