Folks were slagging off on him over Boston. Now he's completely losing his marbles. Feeling entitled mucho?

It isn’t that serious. He is entitled to his opinion.
He only qualified for Boston. He got a free bib for the rest of the majors.
Easy solution - similar to Boston: 2/3 of the start spots for any WMM should be filled by time qualifiers. The remainder are then given to those that run and raise money for a race recognized charity organization. You earn your spot or you produce some value for society to get on a WMM starting line.
Enough of these entitled influencers and running tourists!
Thank you for free publicity for my channel.
He's going to feel really proud after getting star 6, only having to earn one of them.
1. This is a very poor example of someone "losing their marbles".
2. He admits that he's being grumpy because he didn't get in.
3. He actually makes a good point about the cluelessness of highlighting an entrant that took 10 years to get into the marathon.
4. Running the Majors these days is expensive and overrated unless you really like the experience of soaking up the crowds/atmosphere. They have become a thing that everyone wants to do because of the exclusivity and influencers on social media, like a Taylor Swift concert or the Super Bowl. Big city marathons that don't sell out really need to take advantage of this situation by creating unique pricing and entry tiers that make their races more appealing for Majors lottery rejects.
I agree with the whole "10 years to get in" thing
There were 578k people applying for London marathon last year, and the number will be the same this year.
it’s tough to get in if you don’t have a good for age or run for charity. They use to guarantee a place until too many started applying.
I suppose it the reason that makes it one of the majors unlike the smaller one on calendar of the six and other local marathons.
It looks like he is on the way to Adidas HQ. Surely he will run Berlin
Already guaranteed. Bringing the knee pads.
From nobody to shoetuber to entitled queen.
Soon your man will be rotting in prison.
He's aware of Letsrun getting mad at shoetubers getting certain things. It's been brought up on his live stream.
I'm 0-9 getting into London.
Kofuzi, get in line bud. You're ShoeTube gig opens a lot of doors. You're entitlement is showing
FWIW, i know a 67 year old Lady who is 0-12 at London and 0-8 at Berlin.
Imagine that. A shoeruber is complaining a out the very culture he is promoting and getting benefits to promote. Those people have no shame.
I think it's fair enough feedback. I can't see the number of charity spots getting reduced, even though personally I would like that. But one thing they could do for all of us who apply every year and don't get in is to actually not allow people to run it year after year and give other people a chance.
My suggestion for the lottery:
If you apply and do not get in, the next year you apply your name is entered twice. It will slightly increase your chances. If you fail and apply a third time, your name is entered three times. This continues until you get accepted. Once you are accepted and run the race, you will forever after only get one entry in the lottery.
This is good---use for all majors (sans Boston)
Nice idea. Did you come up with that one?
