My F/S League Prelims are tomorrow and it's separated in 3 heats selected randomly. My PR is 4:58 and I need around a 4:48 to qualify (top 4 in each heat are auto in, then next best 4 from every heat combined so 16 total). I'm trying to just get 3rd place in my heat for an auto into league finals. 2 things: 1. Any race strats? 2. Can I pull this off? here's 2 of my recent workouts
1. 6 by 400 2 min recovery: 67, 68, 67, 68; 4 min long break: 66, 69
2. 2 by 800 then 4 by 400 2 min recovery: 2:25, 2:32, 68, 69; 4 min long break: 69, 64
