20 entries, 14 athletes with scored throws, 1 DNS. only 5 ND, all from the same school.

But someone said that because there are physical differences among biological male athletes then the playing field isn't fair to begin with, which is why boys should be allowed to compete with girls.

fwiw the PRs of the "step outs" suggest they would have finished no higher than 5th minus the SPer they challenge.

we're talking about 2 different issues. there is the semenya intersex situation. which, to be clear, y'all argue it's just adam and eve and no other boxes, which science disagrees. there is then the trans situation. one solution would be an open 3rd category, but circle back around to insisting on 2 boxes.

women compete separately because they used to not be allowed to compete ("too fragile," etc.) and that was the compromise to get them playing. you can still see hints of it in, say, girls running 2 mi not 3 in some XC states. used to be no PV. still is 100H not 110, shorter hurdles.

i have heard literally no one say M should be able to be with F because some M are slow. i know for a fact it is true -- the best HS varsity girls could beat lousy frosh boys. but it's a straw man because no one asked for it.

what i have seen is few trans people competing and mostly mediocrely. the implication to the arguments is we are being overwhelmed. in reality we are talking about one person in an event or two in a single meet. how man girls do you think competed at this meet? 100s?

at best, this is like beefing about voter ID when they catch 10 people in a whole state cheating on elections per cycle. can we deal with real problems, please?

Awful article which makes out that ‘Becky’ the mtf transgender wouldn’t be able to compete in sports if not for being allowed to her desired division (female). This is an outright lie. ‘Becky’ can go and compete in ‘her’ rightful division, which is - and always will be - male.

No one will stop ‘Becky’ from competing. But, ‘Becky’ needs to understand that ‘she’ is biologically male. ‘Her’ feelings do not take precedence over 50% of the population and pure biological fact.
