W 400 - Even just Top 3 here would be a great result for Wilson

Guyna bussing in fake fans like Qatar! SMH Fake crowd noise too!
Two consecutive DLs?! What kompromat has Xi got on Coe?
Ok, we get it. Someone shat in your pu pu platter.
Smh ?
Peacock not just showing the international feed this year apparently. Trying to soften the blow of coverage going to Flotrack by making the coverage as bad as possible in the last year they have the rights.
So NBC is not just rebroadcasting the world feed anymore. Instead Peacock is having Paul Swangard, Ato Boldon, and Trey Hardee call the races off a monitor.
That means that the Peacock broadcast will now have ads -- which is a bummer because one of the perks of Peacock used to be that you could watch the meet ad-free.
3rd was a decent start for her
Is the live results site working for anyone else? It's just constantly loading when I click on it.
No same thing with me
Amusan is cooked! Camacho-Quinn is the one with a consistently high performance!
An interesting thing about this men's 5000 is that theres two pairs or brothers Kuma and Lamecha Girma + Ronald Kwemoi and Samwel Masai.
I think pacing is targeting ~12:50 WL from indoor season
Since a lot of people are going to miss this one live, we are going to be recapping the meet as we go on the messageboard:
Women’s 400
This one was loaded as it included all 3 of the 400 medallists from last year’s world plus Britton Wilson, whom Ato Boldon incorrectly said was making her seasonal debut (it was just her DL debut (she’s run a few races with a 50.74 sb). In the end, Marileidy Paulino showed she’s still the woman to beat with a 50.08 win with Kacmarek a clear 2nd in 50.29. Wilson ran a disappointing 51.26 for 3rd.
Women’s 100 hurdles
World indoor champ and indoor 60mh WR holder Devynne Charlton of the Bahamas got out well and had the lead at 60 but could not hold on as Olympic champ Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico came on strong and caught Charlton coming off the final hurdle to win in 12.45 to Charlton’s 12.49.
Working for me
Was a bit slow loading initially
It’s a shame both Chinese DL events have men’s 5000’s with hardly any Olympic medal contenders in them
Results site
Camera work including replays have been awesome so far.
😢
NBC spends a decent chunk of change on every meet. But a different strategy would have been only pay for the announcers for the bigger meets and use the money saved to keep the rights. That type of money presumably is what they’re worth.
Flotrack presumably will pay nothing for announcers and just use the feed.
NBC pays hundreds of millions for the Premier League but for most matches does it even pay to have its own announcers on the game.
NBC probably isn’t used to valuing the rights of something that is pretty small.
It's sending 502 Bad Gateway intermittently, but will work if you try enough times. Live results also being updated as they come on the Fantasy DL site:
