Here We Go!!!
Winnie owns ALL the top 20 Ugandan times
Was Kipyegon billed for the 1500m? If so, pretty sure it could’ve gotten a new WR for either her or Tsegay, competing against each other, would’ve been absolutely massive!
when was the last time they raced against each other, as well with Hassan? must’ve been in 2019, guess only Paris will bring them together for the last time on the 1500m.
they are unlikely to meet in any other 1500m
all roads lead to the 5k for them.
Bump. Meet starts early tomorrow morning, about 7 hours from now.
It's interesting that no reason has been provided yet for Kipyegon's withdrawal, at least that I have seen. Maybe she just doesn't want to fly to China to take on Welteji or Tsegay right now, or there is some sort of minor injury. Nevertheless, if she has a signficant injury or there is some other reason for not competing, it is potentially a big deal.

Not exactly. It's a huge (and spiffy!) place. Lots of folks there.
