Trying to get motivated to train for a 5k after a longer layoff from workouts. I run just about every day. Most weeks about 5-6 days. I decided to try the Strava training plans. I think they're made by McMillan? But it's only a 6 week build up and week 1 is a 2-4 mile tempo then a 12-16x400 at what appears to be 5k pace with 3 minutes jog rest.
It doesn't seem like these plans are adjusted for mileage people can handle. However, I'm going to go for it anyway. Maybe in 6 weeks I'll gain some fitness or maybe I'll be injured. Has anybody used their 5k, 10k, HM, or M plans?
